White Glove set-up not so white?
Got my SS3R put together @ Bike Barn under white glove service. Don't think they did it properly. Poles in packing position, tires they said to be @ 41psi & I got extra? tubes/treads back. Also broken reflector & forgot water holder. Think wheels & other parts not adjusted properly making turning very hard! Anyone in Houston an expert?

Hi Audrey,
That really doesn't sound appropriate at all. Has the StreetStrider support team contacted you, or did you call their support number? Were you ever able to get satisfaction on this issue?
Best regards,

Yes! Dave, StreetStrider founder/inventor himself, called me. We discussed setup, tweaking and riding in detail. I really was impressed with that level of customer service. Dave sounds like he's trying to balance a new product startup with expanding stores, etc. he was really open to suggestions. I told him I wish we had a place where we could at least try different models and take "lessons" if necessary. Locally, the current reps weren't too helpful or too far from where I am. I'm still tweaking positions and stuff, but Dave really gave me excellent advice and help.
Thanks for your response. StreetStrider seems like a nice community -

Great! That's what I like to hear.
I have been very impressed with Dr. Kraus' visibility as a support resource - and his videos are good too! :)
I've been involved with start-ups; I know how hard it is to juggle all the details and bits and pieces that both bring in immediate income and create an environment for future income. Dave seems to understand very well the piece that will grow the business in the future. In a new business you'll always get some customer dissatisfaction; it's how you manage it that makes the difference.
Now go ride! :) -
