Trying to learn more about the StreetStrider

1. Is there a satisfaction guarantee? In other words if I purchase a StreetStrider but it doesn't work out for me, will I be able to return it for a full refund?
2. What is needed to keep the SS maintained and in good running order?
3. How are repairs handled?
4. Is there a number to reach a live person?

  • Hi Theresa. These are good questions.

    1. We definitely want you to be satisfied with your StreetStrider. Our return policy is posted on the website at http://www.streetstrider.com/pdf/Retu....

    2. We have a number of StreetStrider Workshop videos, found at http://www.streetstrider.com/index.ph.... To give you an idea of maintenance, here are two videos specifically about that:

StreetStrider Workshop: Routine Maintenance - Nuts and Bolts
    from StreetStrider on Vimeo.

Using the “drop test” on the StreetStrider to listen for loose nuts and bolts, Dr. Dave shows how you can keep your StreetStrider elliptical cross trainer in tip top shape for a long term enjoyment.

StreetStrider Workshop: Routine Maintenance - Lubrication
    from StreetStrider on Vimeo.

Although many moving joints on the StreetStrider ETX do not require lubrication, several joints do. Dr Dave shows you how to keep your StreetStrider elliptical cross trainer well lubricated for top performance.

    3. With the Owners Manual and StreetStrider Workshop videos, you should be able to keep your StreetStrider is pretty good shape. Some repairs can be handled at your local bike shop whereas others may need advice/instruction from the tech guys here at StreetStrider, usually over the phone and through the mail.

    4. You can start by calling 1-800-348-0998 for basic questions, and they will lead you to the right person at StreetStrider for more specific questions.

    Hope these answers help!
