bike gathering dust

I bought the 3r and a stand and now I see that the two don't work together. When will the 3r stand be available? and can I trade in this stand for it? I hate to lose $400

    Irene, the ETX 3r can be used with the Kinetic Road Machine trainer but you have to remove the shifter bell crank on the left of the rear axle and screw on an acorn nut to match the left side. The video that describes the procedure is found here: http://www.facebook.com/StreetStrider... and titled StreetStrider Workshop: Setting up the ETX 3r on a Trainer Stand. The Universal Trainer that will fit any StreetStrider is expected in the next couple of months. In the meantime you could use your trainer as described. We have no trade in policy at this time however, the Kinetic Road Machine is quite popular for bicyclists so it might be easily sold.
