Availability: pre-order?

Just ordered the car rack and paid for 2day ship. Need it for the weekend.
I was looking at it after the fact and noticed it states availability: pre-order.
What does that mean? Any time I've pre-ordered in the past meant I bought it before it was available but I know these have been shipping.

That most likely means it is not in stock. The same thing happened with my Toocan Bag. i want another one but it says pre-order.

StreetStrider racks are basicially Hollywood Racks.

I think this is almost exactly the same as what they sell at StreetStrider.com
