Arm poles need to be longer.
Arm poles need to be longer. I am 6.5 and the poles only come to my arm pit. I ride often, but I am gripping the top of the grips like a knob instead of a grip.

really?, I'm 6'5 as well and they work fine for me.
But I never really rode an elliptical before this so I don't have a preference of reaching up high above my shoulders.
Maybe it would be good to have them longer. I really don't know. -

I'm 6'5 as well. You find if they were a lil higher that you would hold the grips more? I find I'm gripping the the top 1/4 of them, pushing with the bottom of my hand, not the whole hand. Just be nicer since your driving around the streets, not in one spot at the gym.

Well I think that there should be multiple hand grips at different angles.
Just like when you are working out with free-weights or weight machines, The angle of your hands in relation to your forearms are turned at different angles so that you work different muscles.
Sometime I grip the stride poles futher down closer to pivot joint #1 to add some variations to my exercising. -

I agree with you on that as well Sal. Different positions to grip would be great, or a way to add them. I researched that idea first, when I first realized that longer poles would be nicer.

Alan,
I wonder if we can use something like this?

I may buy some to test them out.

IMHO i think the arm poles should b telescopic, so they could stretch 10 feet, that way kobe might want 2 try.
Seriously I used 2 race walk and the arms should b bent about 90 degrees, ithe Strider seems 2 move similarly 2 that arm movement, maybe give that a try. -
